Well it's almost 2023 and time to reflect on this year.... Unlike the last 2 years I don't have a song stuck on repeat like  "Better Day's" or "Stuck in the Moment" infact just the oposite.  Any Christmas song that mentions winter, snow  or white is on the top of my Do NOT Play iuntil further notice list.   I don't think I will ever wish for a white Christmas ever again. Any 2022 did pull a few of these upset were holidays were just days on a calendar and we had to celebrate then at another time. Maybe the other 2 yrs prepared us for such occassions.  The world was challenging as it can be.  I just don't want to rehatch the year saying  inflation is terrible, Russians are being a pain etc...because quite frankly the kid in me is going....so?  You are old, that's what happens.. Duh and that same kid that grew up in the 80's knows a thing or 2 about the Russians. Its been great dealing worth a century worth history in 3 yrs... Good Luck to

  So it's been quite a week.......  We went from the never ending snow to 50 degress and rain.... Here is where they put the blizzrd snow... Central Terminal.  Thankfully they put Snowvember 2.0 snow at ECC South campus... Canal Side Tree looks a little rough but its still standing Dinner that was planned for Chrsitmas ...Today.... .

 

Seeing howe the rest live... you know without snow... Went to the Corning Museum of Glass  

When you come home and there's a pile of snow across the street they didn't pick up and the sunset was amazing....  

Finally we could leave the Buffalo area.  Hearing the stories we were definately the hardest hit.  We ended up with 51.5" of snow....  Christmas with family had to wait but was great to be able to be with them.  It wasn't the Christmas I wanted and it took a bit for me to get over it.  I tried to figure out a way for it to work but Mother nature had other plans.  Honestly it humbled me. Yeah I know the last few years we have had to deal with a pandemic and then this. It could get to you but this one... I was safe inside with warmth and electricitiy. I had neighbors that helped.  Dates will come and go but we can still celebrate regardless of the dates.  The pandemic taught us that. Patience...  

Well....... We got out and where did we go?? Shopping... and the shelves were bare....
